Attack report:

I was doing a Sunday recreational walk and had turned for home from the Western Hospital area down Northey Court to my home at Henley Beach. I passed the corner house on Northey Court about to cross over to Webb Street. I noticed the drive gates were open as I walked past as I am cautious about dogs and had heard frequent barking over the last few months from there but had never seen a dog. All seemed ok when suddenly a brown and white dog probably a pit bull charged from behind trying to bite my legs. I was by a tree but it was too hard to climb so I tried to kick it away but it didn't give up biting me on the legs. It started to stop and I saw it was only the lady who pulled over her car that had stopped it and dog went home. I walked the 25 meters home and took off my torn trousers and dressed both leg wounds. I have photos of wounds.
