Attack report:

Yesterday my boyfriend's mum's cat (Kelvin) was sunbathing on their property before a dog came onto the property and wrangled him by the neck. The mum tried to get the dog off Kelvin but the dog ran into linear park as she lives on the edge of the reserve. A lady took photos of the dog as she saw what had happened but the dog ran further away into the park where they had lost him.

By the time I got there we tried looking for Kelvin, we could see drag marks in the clover field where it eventually led us to Kelvin's dead body. The council and police said we cannot do anything until we have an address or find the owner of the dog. If you have any information about this dog please contact me as we want closure for Kelvin.

Attached is a photo of the dog last seen in Linear Park and has a red collar. We are unsure of the breed but looks to be Pit Bull/American Staffy. If you are walking alone or with your pet around the Tea Tree Gully/Athelstone/Highbury area, please be careful as this dog could still be on the loose.
