Attack report:

Hi there,
I’m not even sure if this is the correct way to report but I want others in my area to know of a dangerous dog who has one attack registered & killed our miniature schnauzer 3 months ago. Council didn’t even place an order on this dog as the owner claimed she was sitting another dog at the time (complete lie). She admitted to being away for 5 days & leaving her dog with someone come to feed it (left outside with no interaction). Her dog (large grey American Staffy cross) got bored & clearly anxious on the 5th day and dug her way under our retaining wall making a big entry hole to their yard. My schnauzer got curious & went through. He was killed instantly. No disruption our side (as in my dog has not dug his way through).
This dog is very aggressive and barks all day long. He attacked a dog on the beach not long before (Semaphore I believe) also reported to council. Dogs name is Luna and owner lives on Railway Terrace, Largs Bay. This attack has been swept into the “too hard basket” for council & it’s absolutely disappointing! There are small children who live next door & if the dog digs again & this time a child gets through, the council will be in big trouble then.
I’m sorry if this is not the correct format to be posting, I just want our story heard so no one else has to endure what has been the hardest time of our life.
Thank you.
