Attack report:

My husband and I were walking our 2 small dogs on leads around the block when 2 large Rottweilers came out of a house on the other side of the road and attacked us. We managed to scoop our 2 small dogs into our arms which saved their lives but one of our dogs was bitten on the back leg and tail by the vicious Rottweiler and then my husband's hand was bitten severely. The owner eventually came over and told us the Rottweilers were not socialised and do not like other dogs. We called the Police and have made a report to the Council. However, it appears that nothing is likely to happen. We are now not able to walk our dogs in our own street and are quite traumatised by the whole incident. We can't understand how people are allowed to have these dogs that they have no control over in the community? The 2 dogs did not respond to any commands and had to be manually pulled off by my husband. We had to take a day off work for medical and vet treatment and to report to the Council. The dog laws in SA need to be changed!
